Associate
Karen studied at McGill University, where she received her Arts and Science degree in Chemistry and Sociology. She completed her law degree at the University of Ottawa, prior to joining Smiths IP.
She is passionate about empowering women and promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. During her time in law school, she chaired the uOttawa Chapter of the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program, and served on the board of the Ontario Chapter of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
In her spare time, Karen is an amateur snowboarder and enjoys reading, watching movies, practicing yoga and hunting for deals.
