Dana Turner-Ryan will be attending the Licensing Executives Society (LES) Annual Meeting in our home town, Vancouver, BC from October 23 – 26, 2016. This year’s LES meeting theme is “Global Deals: New Strategic Frontiers.” She looks forward to meeting with the many IP and licensing professionals attending the conference from around the world.

2016 INTA Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida
The INTA Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida reached new heights! That includes rides on the Orlando Eye, similar to the London Eye. Our Mihaela Hutanu attended the meeting from May 21 to 25, 2016 as part of her membership on INTA’S Trademark Office Practices Committee.

The Chambre de Commerce Francophone de Vancouver hosted an evening centered around IP on January 27. Paul Smith, speaking as a representative of the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, gave a presentation on the different forms of IP applicable to business. La soirée était agréable avec deux douzaines de participants.
