At the International Trademark Association’s Leadership Meeting in Phoenix in November, the mandate of the Free Trade Areas subcommittee’s task force on the TransPacific Partnership negotiations, of which Paul Smith is co-chair, has been expanded to also cover the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership negotiations. The RCEP involves most of the Asia Pacific nations, but does not include Canada or the United States.
